Kimberly McNeil
I focus my work on helping clients to achieve pain-free movement for life. My methods confer and relate across disciplines that I have studied and observed for as many as 24 years. My particular niche has organically drawn clients that are post-rehab with the goal of returning to their sport; individuals interested in productive aging training, as well as pre and postnatal athletes. As a certified personal trainer I provide specialized training in Strength and Conditioning; Myofascial Release; Posture Restoration Coaching; Geroprotective or Seniors Exercise, as well as Mindset/ Lifestyle Coaching and Nutrition Coaching. I’m honored to have served everyone from complete beginners to professional athletes.
When I’m not training clients you can find me out in the wilds of the world, hiking, surfing, climbing, trail riding, practicing archery or simply forest bathing. I am however just as likely to be sitting poolside (poorly) strumming my ukulele; practicing Nei Gong, Qi Gong, Taiji, Aikido, BJJ, Vinyasa, Iyengar or playing with the many forms of dance.
Degrees, Certifications & Experience
I currently hold a BS. in Biology from Cornell and previously worked in the field of public health and infectious disease on the African continent. Upon returning to the U.S. I embarked on another journey turning my passion for exploring the mind-body connection into a career as Certified Personal Trainer, Qi Gong instructor and Aikido instructor. As a consummate student I am continually improving and expanding my knowledge in physical fitness and wellness in order to deliver the most potent training program. I draw from years of experience as a competitive athlete in team and equestrian sports, CrossFit and even body building. You’ll also find that my experience studying and teaching martial and meditative arts for decades greatly informs my work.
